Abstract |
In this paper, a decision method and the process of appropriate subsidy levels are proposed for introducing the residential low voltage customer demand response (DR) program in Korea. The power industry environment is considered including various stakeholders’ viewpoints based on the California Standard Practice Test for the implementation of the DR program. A method to intuitively determine the appropriate range of these subsidies is proposed using the California Teste, and a procedure for determining optimal subsidy based on actual operational data is proposed. A case study is carried out on the selected sample load among residential low voltage consumers to prove the effectiveness of the proposed method. Actually, the results of this study have been applied to design the demand response program for KEPCO (Korea Electric Power Corporation) |
