Abstract |
Abstract - In accordance with global efforts to reduce carbon, energy storage system(ESS) application and research are rapidly progressing in Korea. There are many advantages when ESS is connected to DC electric railway for regenerative braking energy utilization and peak reduction. In this paper, the di/dt and ? characteristics of the 50F relay were analyzed according to the presence of failure resistance, ESS operation condition, and train operating condition by connecting the ESS to the DC-link of a DC electric railway substation. To analyze the contribution of ESS, power analysis program, PSCAD/EMTDC was used. |
