Abstract |
In hybrid train it is essential for new technologies to improve energy efficiency such as power distribution between energy sources, SOC(State Of Charge) management, unlike general electric trains driven by single power through catenary lines. This paper suggests an energy management strategy for energy consumption optimization of train. A new energy optimization strategy for hydrogen electric train based on ECMS(Equivalent Consumption Management Strategy) is described using PMP(Pontryagin's Minimum Principle). The EF(Equivalent Factor) that determines the power distribution between HFC(Hydrogen Fuel Cell) and battery system is changed according to the battery SOC through PI(Proportional-Integral) control. The proposed algorithm is implemented using Matlab/Simulink and verified through co-simulation with Amesim, which includes a vehicle model. |
