Abstract |
Systems to regional power systems (Local Power Systems, LPS) in response to the growing uncertainties of dispersed renewable energy sources (RES) and the need to enhance the utilization rate of RES. This paper proposes the introduction of Integrated Energy Systems (IES) in this transition process, particularly exploring efficient management strategies for dispersed RES within regions through the linkage with Virtual Energy Management Systems (VEMS). The VEMS-based IES leverages virtual energy offset transactions to realize optimal distribution of energy resources within regions, enhancing the renewable energy acceptance rate of Single Energy Systems (SES). In this study, key stakeholders in the operation of the proposed IES are classified as Independent Systems Operators (ISO), Renewable Energy Providers (REP), Energy eXchange Aggregators (EXA), and end-users, and it is demonstrated that the target benefits of each stakeholder are enhanced.. |
