Abstract |
This paper introduces the Spoke-type permanent magnet force holding unit for the DC circuit breaker's fast switch. The permanent magnet force holding unit of a fast switch is a device for applying a contact force to the contact interface of the vacuum interrupter in the close state of the circuit breaker. However, not a few contact forces remaining during the open operation interfere with the actuator operation and slow down the operation speed of the fast switch. To solve this problem, in this paper, a Spoke-type permanent magnet force holding unit that can improve operation inhibition through a downward slope of the contact force was proposed, designed and interpreted. The effectiveness and performance of the proposed model were verified by comparing with the analysis results of the conventional model. |
