| Abstract |
This paper proposes a modular UV-C sterilizer system design concept and control algorithm for sanitary treatment of agricultural waste nutrient solution and circulation water. The proposed system adopts a parallel lego-type combination structure of a single sterilization module, securing both variability in processing capacity and manufacturing economy. Each module consists of an integrated unit comprising a UV-C lamp, quartz tube, independent flow channel, and inlet/outlet port, applying the TUV 36T5 HO 4P SE rated lamp (75W, total lamp length 850mm). The sterilization control algorithm includes water level detection, automatic pump and lamp operation, optimal temperature maintenance using a heater rod, and automatic valve control cleaning function. This structure is verified to be an optimized design for large-scale agricultural waste nutrient solution processing systems in terms of flow flexibility, ease of maintenance, manufacturing economy, and stable sterilization performance. |
