Abstract |
According to the nonlinear characteristic of the photovoltaic array, the PV system requires a maximum power point tracking(MPPT) method in order to ensure high efficiency. The maximum power point(MPP) is tracked by comparing the outputs of the PV array, there are difference in PV outputs depending on the selection of control ways. In other literature, analysis of control method using current control, voltage control, or both has been done. In this paper, after modelling the PV array and DC-DC converter, the method that have a simple structure and steady state error control by considering the PV array characteristics was analyzed and implemented. Simulation and experimental verifications are conducted to validate the performance of the proposed control method. |
