Abstract |
Cmmon-mode voltage (CMV) occurs in the pulse width modulated (PWM) method inverter of fast switching. The CMV induces shaft voltage and bearing current because of electrical interaction with the parasitic capacitance of the motor. CMV and shaft voltage are considered major causes of bearing fault. Motor fault poses a risk of accidents. Therefore, analysis of the CMV and shaft voltage of the motor is required. This paper analyzes the effect of parameter changes in inverter on CMV and shaft voltage. The parameters include DC link voltage, switching frequency, and carrier wave phase shift. An Equivalent simulation model is constructed through MATLAB/SIMULINK. The parasitic capacitance of the motor is obtained according to its structure. Comparative analysis of CMV, shaft voltage is carried out through simulation. Changes in motor output due to carrier wave phase shift are included. Finally, validation through experiments is included. |
