Abstract |
In SPMSM design according to the existing method, some empirical values were used in the calculation of the airgap flux density and the back EMF, so there was a difference from the design result. In order to minimize the dependence on these empirical values and to obtain an accurate back EMF, a method to calculate the no-load back EMF using an analytical method is proposed in this paper. The proposed method combines the airgap flux density distribution and the winding function and is verified using the FEM analysis results. Although this method is for a slotless model, according to the validation, the method proposed in this paper can be applied to perform a slotted model design. |
