Abstract |
Analyzing the electromagnetic transient of power systems is an important research field for power system analysis. for this, EMTP/ATPDraw is one of the programs for analysis. ATPDraw has elements for various electromagnetic and systematic analysis. however, there are limitations in nonlinear algebra or numerical analysis. therefore, in this paper, uses EMTP/ATPDraw's MODELS to build an interface for data exchange within ATPDraw, C, and MATLAB's computational modules. through this, a study was conducted on the performance improvement. in addition, the mentioned interface is tested by configuring an over-current relay element that adapts to power system fluctuations. as a result, efficient and universal use is expected through the linking EMTP/ATPDraw and external programs. |
